Burk was a 13 year-old boy with a mind filled with service. He was a natural ability to care for the well being of others.  His life was tragically cut short due to an accident when he was a 7th grader.

The last page of his journal contained the message we carry to the world through the actions of this foundation.  His last words read, "Focus on other people.  SERVICE"
